Wilson Thomas was born Jan.24, 1928 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Linden and Hester Thomas. Uncle Cut was the second oldest of his siblings.
He was a lifetime member of Carters Temple CME Church under the leadership of the late Rev. G.W. Darden.
Wilson Thomas was educated in the public schools of Dallas, Texas, and attended Lincoln High School. Later in Life he adventured to New York where he attended New York Boxing Club, He moved back to Dallas, Texas after his boxing career ended. He was employed with Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, Texas for over 20 years with retirement.
Uncle Cut loved his Family and Friends and would give you his heart, be loved going outside, Loved nature, but most of all he loved God.
Wilson Thomas was preceded in death by his Father Linden T. Thomas Sr., his Mother Hester Wikox Thomas, his Brothers L.T Thomas, Robert I. Thomas, sister Dorothy Nell Mays- Thomas, Brother-In-Law, Thomas E. Mays, Sister-In-Law Audrey T Thomas, Eula Faye Flowers Thomas, Nephew Terry Benard Mays, Nieces Coretta J. Mays and Arnelda L. Mays.
He leaves to accept the will of God and Celebrate the final Chapter in his life of Joy: Benard Thomas, Brother, Host of nieces Michelle Thomas, Rhonda Kay Mays-Strong (Billy), Nephews Robert D. Maloy (Sherri), Linden T. Thomas III, Gregory Thomas, Ricky Thomas and Honorary Son Devery Williams, great nieces Shawenta D. Adkins-Green(George), Candice Rayshay Strong, great Nephews, Brandon Maurice Buiton, Tyson Coleman, Isacca Maloy, Heath Maloy, Joshua Davis and Isaiah Jorden
