Willis Abraham Martin, 73, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Willis Abraham Martin was born on December 13, 1946 in Corpus Christi, TX. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1966. Willis served his country with honor and distinction as an active duty U.S. Marine until his Honorable Discharge in 1972. Willis continued his education and graduated from Del Mar College, a Texas A & M Branch in 1978. He was an entrepreneur independently owning his own American Image photography business. Apart from managing his company, he was known as a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his daughters, friends, and grandchildren whenever he could. He was an avid movie watcher and a member of the American Legion Society donating to the active and retired Marines fund.
Willis is survived by: his mother Viola Graham, sister Rosie Jones, brother Jimmie Smith, former wife Ruby Martin, two daughters, I easha Stewart and her husband Michael Stewart of Fort Worth, TX, and daughter Nicole Martin of Orlando, FL,; six grandchildren, Todd Vaughn Jr., Brian Vaughn, Antionette Martin, Anthony Martin, Alexis Harris, and Darnell Harris; two great grandchildren Jordan Bing and Alicia Darden; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Angela Martin, "adoptive parents" Mary Belle Little and Abraham Martin
