Willie James Hines was born March 17, 1946, to the late J T Hines and Marie Lynn Hines in Arcadia, Bienville Parish, Louisiana.  He was baptized at an early at New Birth Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas, under the pastoral care of the late Reverend George Wynn Pryor.

Willie James Hines met his best friend and soulmate Annie Mae Hines on Easter Sunday 1965, and they married shortly thereafter.  To this union their only child Erica Jean Hines Toliver was born on August 8, 1970.

Willie James Hines leaves to cherish his memory his beloved and loving daughter, Erica Jean Toliver, Grapevine, TX; two beautiful grandchildren—Amber Joy-nae' Toliver and Mark Audra Toliver III, Dallas, TX; two loving sisters—Linda Faye Smith, Caddo Mills, TX, and Linda (Bay) Jean Webb (Michael), Dallas, TX; great aunt Ineta Lewis, Dallas, TX, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, ex-coworkers, neighbors, and acquaintances.

Willie James Hines' lifetime professional experiences include working in the telecommunications, computer software, automotive, and transportation logistics industries.  He was devoted to his career and set a mighty fine example of honest, hard work, dedication, perseverance, and humility.

Willie James Hines proudly served in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman in the early 60s. He studied and successfully trained at Lackland AFB in Texas.
