William Marlowe was born on July 24, 1961, to the union of Jessie Johnson and Willie Marlowe. He was also lovingly raised by his stepfather, Oughtly Denmon. William was preceded in death by his father, Willie Marlowe; his sister, Michelle Marlowe; his grandmother, Irene Dibbles; and his grandparents, Horace and Alean Johnson.

From an early age, William's energy and competitive spirit were evident in everything he did. He found his stride on the track and his passion on the football field, where his dedication and talent shined brightly. Known for his determination and never-give-up attitude, William's drive carried his gifts all the way to college. Sports were more than a pastime to him they were a source of pride, discipline, and lifelong memories, many of which were made alongside his beloved siblings, Pamela Marlowe-Summerville (Rodney), Gerald Marlowe (Cynthia), and Marcus Denmon.
William leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Sabrina Haggerty Marlowe, who stood by his side with love and care. He was a proud father to Chris Marlowe Jr., Antwain Marlowe, and Crystal Marlowe. He was also lovingly embraced as a father figure by his bonus children: Eric Hunter, Shawn Clary, Kendrick Hunter, Nakora Taylor, and Angela Fleming.

Loved ones mourning his passing include his nieces and nephews: Natisha Marlowe (Derricka), Timothy Griffin, Rashad Denmon, Jerald Marlowe, D'Eric Marlowe, Reggie Washington, and Mayshia Marlowe. He is also survived by devoted in-laws, additional nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close friends Barry, Kenneth, and Dalton who became his brothers.
