Virginia "Peggy" Murry was born into this world January 1,1949 to the union of Gilbert and Lucille McNeal. She was the seventh child out of nine to be born, but left us, the fouth out of nine. Peggy went into her new home on Thursday May 7, 2020. You looked simply amazing at 71 and you knew it!
At a early age, they moved from Ennis to Old O'Banion road in Garland where they soon joined Zion Baptist Church as faithful members. She eventually settled, worked, loved, married (Robert Mack Murry Sr) and bore a son from that union, Reginald Murry. She retired and spent her later years caring for others and her family.
We visited Lucy's burial in the last of March, not knowing this would be our last time there together, with Betty, Adrian and Tutt. You began to recite The 23rd Psalms with so much passion.
She was Preceded in death by: Her husband, Robert Mack Murry, parents, Gilbert and Lucille McNeal, her grandparents: Virginia Guns ( Chicago). Jack & Maggie McDonald (Garland), Brothers:Jessie McNeal, Fletcher McNeal, Johnny McNeal,James McNeal and her sister: Mary Jackson all of Dallas.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her son Reginald (Honesty) Murry and two grandchildren: Christian Moses and Cayelen Murry; two brothers: Roy ( Loretta) McNeal and Archie (Dorothy) McNeal and sister Betty Randall. There are a whole host of other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, best friends, friends, former coworker and her Church family Zion who will miss her dearly.
