Mrs. Virginia Johnson-Pollard, affectionately known as "Gin" went peacefully to the Lord on the morning of July 18th after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Born in Longview, TX but, ultimately spending most of her life in Dallas, TX, Virginia was a skilled nurse who devoted most of her time caring for others. She loved spending time with family and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She had an infectious smile that would light up any room. Leaving behind a legacy of utter love and support, Virginia will be greatly missed.

Virginia is survived by two children (and spouses): Charles Johnson (Nikki) and Brandon Johnson (Dani); five grandchildren: Jaylen Johnson, Zaria Johnson, Charles Johson III, Knox, and Olivia Johnson. Virginia is also survived by her mother, Zeffie Watkins, and sister, Inez Watkins, and husband, James Pollard. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Charles Johnson and sister Catherine Watkins.  She also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends left to cherish her loving memory.
