Viola Lynn Sumberlin was born on June 27, 1953 in Bastrop, TX, to Ozie Monroe, and Ethel Lee Fuller.

Viola Lynn Sumberlin , departed this life on May 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Ozie Monroe Sr, and mother, Ethel Lee Fuller. Brothers, Authur R. Fuller, Franklin D. Fuller, Robert L. Jackson, Albert L. Williams and Floyd Monroe. Sisters, Verta M. Daniels, Shirley A Harper, and Toni Monroe.

She leaves to cherish her beloved daughter, Sharonda Fuller- Burks, grandson Deon Roshard Fuller, great granddaughter Destiny R. Fuller, great grandsons Deon R. Fuller and Kyro R. Fuller. Brothers, Lawerence A. Fuller (Sherry), Charles Jackson (Patricia), David L. Fuller, Billy W. Fuller, Ozie Monroe Jr (Mary), Bryon Monroe (Carey), Randy Monroe (Gwen), Claudell Monroe (Sharron), Robert Monroe (Janette). Sisters Gloria J. Fuller, Wanda J. Fuller, Marilyn Monroe-Hall (Alonzo), Jackie Monroe-Kirby (Durwood), MaryAnn Monroe-Bibbs (James), and Beverly Gail Tanksley.

She is also survived by host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and lots of relatives and friends.

Viola Lynn Sumberlin worked for many years at Plastics Manufactory in Quality Control. She also provided great services as a security officer at Allied Universal for years. Her cheerful smile and "Happy Friday" messages that she sent to encourage her family and friends every Friday will be missed tremendously. As well as her love for the Dallas Cowboys, her screaming "touchdown" and arguing about the referees cheating. We will cherish all the wonderful memories.
