Vickie Yvette Washington entered life on March 7, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Joseph & Esther Washington and sister Valerie. She attended elementary school at William Brown Miller; middle school at Oliver Wendell Holmes Academy; and graduated high school in the great class of 1985 from "one & only" Skyline High School!
In 1973, the Washington Family joined Greater South Central Baptist Church, where Vickie was baptized and active with the youth department.
She further her studies at Paul Quinn College where she pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Vickie earned a prestigious Culinary Arts Degree from Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts and excelled at catering events in the Dallas metroplex. She was a gifted chef and her love language was cooking & entertaining friends and family!
Vickie enjoyed successful careers in Assembly, Engineering and Sales at Texas Instruments, IBM and most recently at Freeman Honda Group, as the Internet Sales Manager where she won many awards for top sales.
Vickie joined Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and was an active member for over 25 years and worked at OCBF as a Culinary Manager. She truly enjoyed her bible study group and being an Usher!
Vickie married Aaron Lewis and together they raised a beautiful blended family. Although the marriage ended, they remained great friends and wonderful co-parents to Larrisha, Aaron II, Andrew and Ja'Colby.
Preceding her in death: both parents, Joseph & Esther Washington. She leaves to forever cherish her memories: her daughter, Larrisha; sons: Aaron II. (Reoni); Andrew and Ja'Colby (Daizha); grand-son: Thailand; sister Valerie (Kenneth); nieces: Amberly and Ashley; great-niece: Peyton; nephews: Desmond (Chantell), Daniel and Matthew; Mother In-Love: Mama Vera Lewis; Sisters in Love: Stephanie (Eric), Michelle (Ron) and Cheryl; her beloved life partner: Willie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and close friends.
