Vernon Blade's Obituary
Vernon Blade, the eleventh of eighteen children, was born in Marianna, Arkansas to Margaret Wilks Blade and Thomas Lee Blade.
Vernon was saved and turned his life over to God at Morning Star Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and Bible Deliverance of Marianna, Arkansas.
Vernon was an employee of the Carrollton/Farmers Branch Independent School District for over 20 years, where he truly enjoyed working in his field of work and took pride in his professions.
His memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, September 8, 2012 12:30pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home in the "Peggy Jo Mayse" Chapel.
