Obituary

Verneice Jones was born on June 3, 1952 the second oldest child to Charlie Cutts Jr. and Addie B. Williams of Albany, Georgia. There she was taught the values of responsibility and devotion to family by her mother.

One spring day in the Progress Village neighborhood of Tampa, Florida, she met the man who would become her husband, Don Jones. Don and Verneice married on August 10, 1972. They started their married life touring such places like England, France, and Germany as part of Don's military career.

In December of 1979, they welcomed their first son. In 1980, they moved to Texas to continue their life together. They welcomed their second son four years later and their daughter seven years later.

Verneice was a very active member of her church. She was a model of devotion to God, family and giving back to the community. She gained her wings on November 26, 2021. A memorial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home on December 10, 2021.
