Verline Dickerson, born on April 7, 1947, to Rev. Freeman and Martha Dickerson, peacefully entered eternal rest on May 31, 2025. A proud graduate of Pinkston High School in Dallas, Verline was a devoted member of Lone Star Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Verline began her professional journey at Dearborn and later contributed her talents at Frito-Lay. Known for her unwavering faith, compassion, and selflessness, she cherished family above all and consistently put others first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Freeman and Martha Oliver Dickerson; her siblings: Margaret Dickerson-Martin, Mary Dickerson
White, Beatrice Dickerson, Alice Dickerson-Smith, Freeman Dickerson Jr., Raymond Dickerson, Richard Dickerson, and Franklin Dickerson. Verline
leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Shelia Smith, Lonnie Dickerson, and Jerome Dickerson; nine grandchildren; and three great grandsons, all of whom she loved dearly.
