Verlee Micki Jones was born to Jim Jernigan and Irene Jernigan on January 6, 1944. She departed this life on January 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother Irene Jernigan, father, Jim Jernigan, brothers Lavon Jackson and James "Moot" Jernigan Sr.

Micki was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a fine and dignified woman of grace. She hers. She was caring, giving and considerate of others. She put God first in her life and led by example as she encouraged spiritual growth while serving God. The life she lived has spoken well of her. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none.

Micki achieved many accomplishments throughout her career with Kodak and Solis Mammography where she retired from a few years ago.

She leaves to cherish in her memories, her sons Rev. Raynard C. Robinson (Angela), Freddie Jones Jr., daughter, Paulette Westmoreland. Sisters: Thelma Johnson, Dorothy Ollie, brothers, Rev. Ernest Jernigan (Sarah), Curtis Jernigan (Patricia), 10 grandchildren (Jemiese Conner (Michael), Roy C Martin Jr (Blumesha), Paul Martin, Mia J. Robinson, Asia Q. Robinson, Jordan C. Robinson, Alexis Sky Jones, India J. Robinson, Victoria S. Robinson, Zion J. Robinson. 7 great grandchildren, Chastity, Charity, Elijah, Christian, ZaRiah, ZaMari, Annistynn, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
