Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me"

Vennia Marie Morris born September 27, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to the late Willie Morris and Pauline Mitchell Morris.

She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Willie and Geneva Mitchell; auntie, Earnestine Richardson; uncles, Hodges G. Mitchell and Willie D. Mitchell and sister, Paula D. Morris.

Vennia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Forest Avenue Christian Church (DOC), which is now operating as the Warren Avenue Christian Church under the leadership of the late Rev. M.C. Dickson. Later in life, she united with Dallas Metro Church where Rev. Clay Wallace is the Senior Pastor.

She received her education I the Dallas Independent School System. Vennia, who was known as "Bobo" and "Kathy", was a very loving, caring and giving person who truly loved the Lord. She never met a stranger. Bobo was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

During her time of illness, she never complained about anything and always kept a positive outlook on everything. She loved talking about the Lord, sports, her children and most of all her grandchildren.

She leaves to carry on her Legacy: daughters, Geneva (Tameiria) Lewis, Miracle Morris; grandchildren: Janiya Morris, Terrion Brown, Tyree Brown, Te'riya Brown and Ga'ziya Morris; two sisters, Pamela Morris and Lisa Mathis; one brother, Daryl (Mary) Morris; one uncle; Donald (Joyce) Mitchell and one great aunt: Lula M. Smith along with nephew, Eric Morris, nieces: Erica Butler, Da'Janae Morris and a host of relatives and friends.
