Uto Huff was born August 5, 1932 in Osaka, Japan to Toyotsu and Kame (Kake) Moto. She departed this life, October 5, 2018.
As a young girl, Uto and her family lived through World War II and the effects of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
She was educated in Japan and was a trained seamstress. She went on to work as an expert tailor in a family-owned tailoring shop where she met her husband who was a young soldier in the United States Army. She united in marriage to Eugene Charles Huff on September 19, 1960 in Okinawa, Japan. Uto was a dedicated wife and mother and worked only inside the home until her youngest child was nearing graduation from high school. During that time, she went on to work at Tinker Airforce Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She recounts this work experience as some of the best years of her life as she used the income to support some of her children through college and enjoy Bingo and outings with her closest friends.
She was an avid sports fan with a true love for the Dallas Cowboys and even dressing out on game day. She also truly enjoyed baseball with her favorite team being the New York Yankees.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Toyotsu and Kame Moto, her beloved husband, Eugene Charles Huff and her beloved son, Charles Edward Huff.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Johnny Ray Huff, Michael Anthony Huff (Barbara), Edward Lynn Huff (Gaye) and Kareen Ann Huff-Winters (Jermaine); ten grandchildren, Alexis, Rodney, Amonte (Victoriana), Richard, Mikayla, Mirhanda, Taylor, Charles, Kai and Kalina; two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Amirah and a host of other relatives and friends.
