Tyrone's Story "Cool Ty"

Tyrone Massey A*K*A Low Down Life could be categorized as one who was born again in Christ. A true story of Triumph and the mercy of God. Ty was all about family and loyalty to those who he loved. He LOVED is wife Eva Carroll-Massey who precedes him in death, his Daughter Imi, Son's Ricky Tyree and Leonard; His Grandchildren Iyana and Evan Tyrone. Tyrone loved the Lord, his Faithful quote he would always say was "Hold On to God's Unchanging Hands." Tyrone was what you called a real hood OG but God transformed him into an OG for Christ OG now stood for Only God! Ty love music and he could dance anyone under the table. When Tyrone was blessed with his 1st grandchild, that was the start of him putting away all his old-world habits. When grandchild #2 made his entrance, it sealed the deal he made with God. Tyrone become a faithful servant in church and a mighty praying warrior. But most of all he became the BEST PaPa a, kid could ever want or asked for!

Tyrone was born November 9, 1950 to the loving parents Freddy Sr. and Eartha ( Sugar Baby) Massey in West Dallas, TX. Tyrone was the 7th of eight Children. He was a beloved son and a much love brother. You didn't mess with Ty's siblings especially Doll (Darlean).

Tyrone Massey and Eva Carroll united in Holy Matrimony on August 18,1974 at Allen Chapel Baptist Church. They were married for 45 years but together 47 years. From this union there were 3 children Imi, Ricky Tyree, and Leonard.

Tyrone received his education at Theodore Franklin Roosevelt Dallas/Tx Class of 1968. He worked at Bearden furniture ending his career at Vencor Hospital until hurting his back and becoming disable.

Tyrone was preceded in Death by his Wife Eva Carroll-Massey, Mother and Father Eartha and Freddy Massey Sr, Sister's Joyce Faye Massey-Kelly, Darlean Massey-McClanahan, Brothers Leroy Massey, John Arthur Massey and Charles Williams.

He Leaves to cherish his memories:

Children Imi Carroll, Ricky Tyree Jordan, Leonard Hagos; Grandchildren Iyana Tutt and Evan Tyrone Tutt: Siblings Freddy Massey Jr. and Shirley Massey-Lee; Very Special Niece "Daughter" Kimberly Massey: Best Friend "Brother" Jimmy Wrenn. Mother in Love Ida Carroll: Sister's in love Linda Carroll- Sanders, Virginia Carroll-Griffith, and Sharon Carroll-Diggs: Brother in loves Kenneth Carroll Sr and Leonard Carroll Jr and a Host of Niece's, Nephew's, Cousin's, Framily and Friends.
