Obituary

Tommy Joe Walker was born on February 09, 1956, to the parentage of Joe and Eliza Walker. Tommy grew up in the city of Tallulah, Louisiana. Tommy moved to Dallas, Texas after graduating high school, where he met Pamela Christian. They entered holy matrimony on January 19, 1977, and to this union, two children were born.

Tommy was a believer in Jesus Christ, and he was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. He knew and could quote the scriptures like no other. Even in his sickness, Tommy's faith in God never wavered.

Tommy retired from Schepp's Dairy after 35 years of faithful employment. He was a very dedicated employee, but besides his devotion to God, his family, and his job, Tommy was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Tommy was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his twin sister, JoAnn Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 45 years, Pamela Walker of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Shaniqual Granados, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma & Roshunda Walker (Kelwin Turner) of Italy, Texas ; his favorite and only granddaughter, Taylor Kelly of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister, Della Crayton, of Tallulah, Louisiana, and one brother, Jimmy Walker, of Tallulah, Louisiana, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We would also like to extend a special "thank you" to Kat Moore, and Maria from Hospice Plus, for an exceptional job of providing care for Tommy.
