On Sunday August 31,2025 at 3:20 AM Tolliver Miller Jr. a loving husband and father passed away at the age of 82. Tolliver was born on March 23,1943 in Oakridge, LA. to the parents of Tolliver Sr. and Alice Miller. He graduated from Morehouse Parish in 1961. He later moved to Dallas in 1969 when he started a family with the love of his life Verna Jones who would become his wife and to this union four children were born.

In 2001 he became a member of Carver Heights B.C under the leadership of Pastor Tyler Carter where he was a faithful member. Tolliver worked for Peavy Floor Company before going into construction where he helped brick house all over Dallas, Texas. For many years before going into remodeling homes where he worked for GWIC for close tom20 years before going into business for himself where he retired due to illness.

Tolliver was preceded in death by his parents, Tolliver Miller Sr. and Alice Miller on son Tyrone: one daughter Angelina, two sisters Bernice Miller and Vertice Norris. Those who remains to cherish his memories: Wife Verna Miller, six daughters Angela Fay (James), Rosie (Dawayne), Waynell Tammy (Isaiah), Angela (Don), LaWanda (Don), six sons Barry, Stanley, Kirk, Tolliver III, Jimmy (Eula), Kerry (Kittie), two sisters Izola and Josephine, mother in law Dorothy Jean Tyson, A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister in laws and other relatives and friends.
