Well Lived Life
Elder Thomas Earl Wade Sr., was born on May 19, 1963 to Roosevelt J. Wade Sr., and Katherine Wade in Forney, TX. He attended the Business Magnet High School in Dallas, TX and graduated in 1980. Elder Wade also later obtained his Associate of Arts in Theology from Living Word Midwest School of Theology in 2014.
At an early age, Elder Wade accepted Jesus Christ into his life as savior and served under his father, Pastor Roosevelt J. Wade Sr., at Greater Hope Church of God in Christ in Dallas, TX. Since the age of 17, he spent over forty years singing with his brothers' singing group The Fantastic Wade Brothers and as a traveling evangelist winning many souls to Christ through the many revivals he preached. Elder Wade served faithfully under several ministries: as an Evangelist at City of Refuge Church of God In Christ in Dallas, TX, as an Elder at Body of Christ Family Church in Red Oak, TX, as an Elder at Living Word Church of God in Christ in Waco, TX, and as an Associate Pastor at his home church Greater Hope Church of God in Christ. Notably, he was called upon to serve as Pastor at Gholson Church of God in Christ in Gholson, TX for a period of four years. Most recently, he has served on the Evangelistic Team at Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Garland, TX under the leadership of Pastor Leonard Leach.
In his personal life, Elder Wade loved spending time with his family and enjoyed an abundant career working in various progressing capacities at Oncor Electric. He was united in holy matrimony to Frances Baker on April 28, 2019 and loved to travel with his loving wife. He was a man of fashion. He loved to dress and smell good.
Elder Wade departed this life on September 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Wade, his paternal grandparents Willie J and Georgia Mae Wade, and his maternal grandparents William Luther and Ella Mae Edwards; bonus son, Charlie Williams, III. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife: Frances Wade, six children: Thomas Earl Wade Jr. (Clarencia), Darren Wade (Shanae), Joshua Wade (Tamira), Jasmine "Jazz" Harris (Jeremy), Yoshua "Money" Wade, Malachi Wade, bonus sons: Justice Williams and Christian Williams, ten grandchildren, father: Roosevelt J. Wade Sr., siblings: Tyrone Wade, Kathy Campbell (Robert Sr.), Roosevelt J. Wade Jr. (Janice), Kerrick Stephens, Vanessa Sowell, Jessica Wade, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other friends, and relatives.
