"A Time to Be Born"

Thermon Lenois Jackson, the only son, was born on June 6, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to Bozy L. Jackson and Mary Etta Nelson-Jackson. Thermon accepted Christ at an early age.

"A Time to Plant"

Thermon attended Elisha M. Pease Elementary, O.W. Holmes Middle School, and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt, Class of 1980. After graduation, he began his career at Coca-Cola as a truck driver. He then continued driving trucks for Alterman and Quest until his health failed.

"A Time to Love"

In 1984, Thermon married his high school sweetheart, Wanda Fisher-Burns. To this union, they were blessed with a daughter, Anita G. Jackson, and a son, Darion L. Jackson.

"A Time to Die"

After fighting the "good fight," Thermon transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Methodist-Richardson Medical Center.

"A Time to Mourn"

Thermon was preceded in death by his parents: Bozy Jackson and Mary Etta Nelson-Jackson, and his sister, Felicia Smith (Huey). He leaves to cherish his memory: children Montay, Antonio, Anita Gail (Jason), Darion (Rae), and Brandon (Paulina). Grandchildren: Joseph, Jeremiah, Lindan, Jordan, Lola, Semaje, Kaleadria, Breanndon, Brianna, Brevion, and Brandon Jr. Special aunts: Aunt Verna, Aunt Pot, and Aunt Jackie. Special uncles: Uncle Les-C and Uncle Haron. A special niece and nephew Amecia Higgs and Brandon Smith. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and a very special friend, Emma Jewl.
