Thelma Lee
Montgomery
September 10, 1947 – August 3, 2022
Thelma Lee Davis Montgomery was born to Roosevelt & Dorothy Davis on Sept 10, 1947. She was the sibling of Francis Iglehart, James Davis, and Patricia Clay. She attended Lincoln High School in Dallas, TX. She married the love of her life Bobby Montgomery, and they shared 3 beautiful children. Clifton Robinson, Dorothy Taylor (son in Law Lorenzo) and Anthony Montgomery.
She was a member of Progressive Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Supt. Tommy Taylor. Her grandchildren are Korian Montgomery (great-grandchildren Liana Montgomery, Olivia Montgomery). Deanthony Montgomery (great- grandchild Donovan Montgomery), Chanseton Robinson (great grandkids Chalyse Robinson, Meghan Robinson, Ashley Taylor (great grandkids De'Jhon (DJ) Fletcher, Darrius (D2) Fletcher, Lyric & Harmoni Morrison, Aymiracle Morrison, Lorenzo Taylor Jr., Ashton Montgomery, Elona Montgomery, and Bobbie Montgomery.
She became "granny" to her grandkids and then became "granny" to everyone she knew.
She will be remembered for the love she had for her late husband Bobby Montgomery, her children, great grandchildren, and dog "Lucky". With a heart of gold, she would give he last to anyone she loved. But if something was on her mind, she would definitely let you know. She never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. She was charismatic, blunt, honest, outgoing, and the life of the party even in her 70's. She had a strong exterior but just as sweet & soft as cotton candy. She had irreplaceable vibe and will be deeply missed by so many.
Sle leaves behind her living children Dorothy Taylor & Anthony Montgomery, the grandchildren and great grandchildren mentioned above as well as a host of close family and friends whom she talked to on a regular basis.
