Ted M. Hill was born on June 3, 1951 in Dallas, TX to the parentage of the late J.D. Davis and Vinnie Lee Jennings. He married his lifelong wife and best friend, Beverly Hill, on June 5, 1980. As a child he was a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Christ, then later became a member of Inspiring Body of Christ Church. He was employed at Bridgford Foods for over 30 years before going into full time retirement to care for his lovely wife.

Ted marched to beat of his own drum in life and was good at building strong relationships with those who had the privilege of meeting him. Being an extremely loving and caring man, he never met a stranger, making a point to leave an impact on the lives of those around him. He was very compassionate and loving about his children and grandchildren. Throughout his life he believed in sacrificing and working hard to provide for his family so his loved ones would not have too. That's how much he loved them.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his children; Kevin Dunlap, Othel Stimpson, and Ingrid Stimpson. Brothers; Robert Vandyke, Sirvoker Davis and John Dell Davis (Deceased). Sisters; Gwendolyn Davis, Gladys Davis, and Vivian Davis; Brother in-law and Sister in-law Dana and Irene Stimpson; Grandchildren; Marquis Stimpson, Aleesha Minor, Robert King, Lisa Harp (Deceased), Christiana Duncan, Mycelette Thomas, Lequintis Jamal Green, Donte Green and Xavier Dunlap, and a host of great children, family and friends.
