Obituary

Steven Dewayne Moore was born on December 15, 1957, to the late Lonnie J. Moore and Hazel V. Moore in Lampassa, Texas.

Steven received his education partly in Roswell, New Mexico, and finished up in Kaufman, Texas. He played football, basketball, and track. Steven graduated with high honors at Kaufman High School in 1976. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 1977 and was honorably discharged due to a knee injury. He then went to medical school where he obtained his certificate in pathology. He worked at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas for several years but decided his passion was in law enforcement. He studied and became a police officer, working for the city of Dallas and later Richland College until he retired.

Steven became a christian at an early age and loved the Lord and reading the bible. He enjoyed sharing scriptures with others. He was a lover of sports an a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by Lonnie J. Moore (Father), Hazel V. Moore (Mother), and Yvette D. Moore (Sister)

Steven leaves to cherish his memories his four children, Daughters, Shambreau Hernandez (Jerry)(Haltom City, Tx), Laspirral Moore (Dallas, Tx), sons, Maunkeithdrick Moore (Chardinae) (Arlington, Tx), and Jalen Moore (Seagoville, Tx), sisters Loni Moore (Mesquite, Tx), and Alfreda Moore (Mesquite, Tx), 7 Grandchilderen, 5 Nieces, 1 Nephew, 5 Great Nieces, 4 Great Nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
