Sible Gilbert Brown was born April 27, 1947 in Clarksville, Texas and she accepted Christ at an early age. She was the daughter of Luther Lee Gilbert Sr. and Jennie V. Davis who preceded her in death, along with three sisters, Gurtie Johnson, Ruth Hill and Myrtle Clayton-Webb, as well as three brothers, Luther Lee Gilbert Jr., Matthew Gilbert and Luther Lee Gilbert Jr.

She leaves cherished memories with her son Dickye T. Thomas, daughter-in-law Tammy Thomas, grandsons, Troyveia D. Thomas and Trey D. Thomas; three sisters Joeann Hamilton, Mildred Harris and Tammie Tremper and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, as well as the entire New Kingdom Fellowship Church.
