Born on July 27,1956 to Tommy Jerry Jones and Trudie Mae jones. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents, her brother Frank Jones, sisters Patricia Jones and Barbara Jones. She is survived by sisters Margaret Johnson, Brenda Smith, Linda Bell, Margaret Jones and brother Jerry "Jabo" Jones (Gwen Jones). Only son Marcus Jones. Grandchildren Wynita Rivers, Ebony Hopkins, Darrin Sillemon and Marquisha Jones. Great Grandchildren Jeffery Williams Jr, Elijah Bennett, Bobby Beckett Jr, Brielle Beckett. Ace nephew Anthony "Big Ant" Hampton, Nephew/Son Clifton "Big Daddy" Jones good friend Roselyn Hampton and her girls "The Posse" and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved family, and friends.

Shirley was truly one of a kind. Born and raised in Dallas Tx, she had all the southern hospitality and sass to be found in the south. Shirley was the 2nd youngest of 8 children but always found a way to stand out. She accepted Christ at an early age and received her education in DISD schools. Shirley lived, loved, laughed and cleaned (insider)!! She was dedicated to her family and friends. She was selfless when it came to her siblings and only son. She raised two of her grandchildren as her own and never missed a beat with her great grands. Shirley enjoyed good music, good company and the occasional ride through South Dallas. She is well known and loved abundantly. Dry those tears yall, I promise Baby Ruth is in heaven having a good time and going back and forth with Barbara Ann!
