Sherva D. Alexander was born on September 28, 1964, in Dallas, Texas to Sherry D. Fudge and Houston
P. Hamilton.

Sherva professed her faith in God and was baptized at an early age at Lee Chapel AME Church in south
Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and earned a bachelor's degree
from University of Texas at Arlington. She later returned to school to receive her master's degree from
Texas A&M University – Commerce.

June 14, 1986, Sherva joined in holy matrimony with Lionell A. Alexander. To this union two children
were born: Taylor Adair and Kamera Arielle. Over the years, she enjoyed making many memories with
her family by telling jokes, playing games, watching movies, taking trips, and instilling quality, lifelong
lessons in her children.

Sherva was preceded in death by her father, Houston P. Hamilton and her brother, Jeffrey (Angela)
Fudge. She is survived by her husband, Lionell Alexander; children, Taylor Alexander and Kamera
(Michael) Andrews; mother, Sherry Fudge; siblings, Sherrita Trimble, and Jesse (Keaton) Fudge, Tracy
(Tracy) Long, Houston Hamilton II, Bryant (Erica) Hamilton, great-grandmother, aunts, uncle, cousins,
nieces, nephews, and many friends.
