Obituary

God selected another angel to come from Earth to Heaven Lady Shelia Yvonne Williams-Hendrix. Sheila was born to the parents of John F. and Mary F. Williams on Thursday, September 6, 1956, in Dallas, Texas. Sheila was the oldest of three siblings.

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her savior and started playing music as well as singing in the church choir serving the Lord with all her heart. A heart after God's heart she never strayed from the love of God or the hand of God. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Irving, Tx. where she served as Web Designing of programs, choir director for the seniors, youth, as well as the Director of Bethel AME choir. She loved cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren as well.

She always made time to serve her family as well as esteem God first and foremost in education as she actively participated in her children's day-to-day life through school programs, sports, and other events. Loving her family and instilling the love of Christ was a priority as she sacrificed to always be there for her four children and loved ones. All who knew her and came to know her knew her love for Christ and his presence when in her presence.

She received her education within the Dallas County School District graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1974. She went on to have a successful modeling career and continued her education at Dallas Theological Seminary where she received an Associate Degree. Shelia went higher in her studies following her dream to complete undergraduate studies at Dallas Baptist University as well as completing her master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Web Designing.

Sheila was preceded in death by her loving parents: John Sr. and Mary F. Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories of her four children: LaKeisha Pruitt (Don), Le Darain Williams, Shantel Perkins, and Brittany Perkins all of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren Deonn and Aaven Hearn. Siblings John F. Williams Jr., Jaqueline Sewell (Charles).  Uncle Edward Wesley and George Dick of Desoto, Texas. Also, Best- Friends Julie Davis and Dee Hollman, and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
