Remembering the Life

Sharon Leonetta Carter was born December 11, 1956 in Los Angeles, California to the late Leon Carter and Mozell Session-Carter.

She was also preceded in death by a bother (Leon Carter Jr.) and brother –in law (Lawrence E. Banks, Sr.).

Because of her disabilities she never attended school. She left her earthly body on June 8, and is now one of God's Angels.

Our family loved and cared for Sharon. Sharon enjoyed being around her family and eating her favorite foods. In her later years Sharon lived in Westridge Nursing Home where she had amazing caregivers and enjoyed her interactions with the other residents. We will miss her dearly.

She leaves to mourn in her passing 3 Sisters, Mary (Liz), Gloria and LaDoria from Dallas, Texas and 1 brother Gabriel (Marilyn) who resides in Temple, Texas. She also has 6 Nephews, 6 Nieces, 12 Great Nephews, 3 Great Great Nephews and 3 Great Great Nieces.

"God Saw You"

God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
He put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands were put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the Best.
