Obituary

Sandra Gayle Washington was the 2nd born of six children to the parents of Fred Williams and Curtis Alma Jean Randall on May 15,1957, in Dallas, TX. Sandra graduated from North Dallas High School in 1974, where she was involved in numerous sports. She later began working at Sanger Harris in Dallas and eventually relocated to Houston for a few years, where she met her loving husband of 28 years George Washington. They eventually moved back to Dallas, with her 2 sons, where they resided in the Oak Cliff/Lancaster area until current.

Sandra began working at Southwest Airlines in the late 90s and continued diligently working there in the accounts payable department. Sandra accepted Christ and was baptized in the mid-late 70s at Trinity Park Church of Christ. Sandra was a current member of the Lancaster Church of Christ. Throughout her Christian journey, Sandra was involved in various women's ministries, taught bible class, was a part of the evangelism team, and the hospitality team. Sandra loved to travel, volunteer, go shopping, do arts and crafts, spend time with family, and those Dallas Cowboys.

Sandra was a woman of great integrity, kindness, and always willing to help everybody in any way possible. She was a shining light in almost every room she walked in. Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, George Washington, son David J. Carter (Jalisa), 5 grandchildren, sisters, Janice Smith (Larry), Barbara Williams, Jillian Kazee, brothers, Larry Williams (Kim), and Rodney Williams (Robin). She was proceeded in death by her son Danny A. Carter (Sandra), mother, Curtis Alma Jean Randall, stepfather, James Kazee, aunts Mary Blackmon, Doris Randall, Mary Johnson, uncles Mical Blackmon and James Randall, and a few more.

Sandra will truly be missed, and her memories will live on forever more.
