Sammie Louis Rollins was born April 15, 1951 in Waskom, Louisiana to Robert Rollins, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Parker and passed away on April 4, 2020 in Dallas, Texas.

Sam was a retired truck driver and had a love of race cars. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He married Doris Jean Easter and from this union, they had two children.

Sammie was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert Rollins II and Wilbert Rollins. He leaves, to cherish his memory, two daughters, Tenisha (Tina) Agwagu of Dallas, Texas and Tiffany Rollins of Dallas, Texas, four grandchildren (DeMondrea (Monty), Justice, Ethan and Tyler) and one great-granddaughter, Emiko; brothers Artis Rollins, Sr., Larry Rollins, Henry Rollins, Darrell Smith; one sister, Debra Venters and a host of nieces and nephews.
