Mrs. Ruth "Patsy" Tatum Wesley
, after 72 years, transitioned from Earth to Glory on Friday morning, April 21, 2017 from Dallas, Texas.
Ruth "Patsy" Tatum Wesley was born October 2, 1944 in Fairfield, Texas to the late Orscenia Thomas Tatum and Tennie (High) Tatum.
Patsy was raised in Fairfield, Texas and graduated from Dogan High School in 1963.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member and usher at the Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the late Bishop Frank. W. Smith.
Patsy met and married Elihue Wesley and to this union was born her first daughter Teel and also a set of twins, Denleen and Geneen.
Patsy was a caregiver for many years and each person held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orscenia Thomas Tatum and Tennie (High) Tatum; her husband Elihue Wesley; brothers James Samuel Tatum and Howard Tatum.
On April 21, 2017 she received her wings and is now in the arms of God where she has eternal rest.
To carry on her legacy she leaves her loving daughters, Teel, Denleen and Geneen; her grandsons, Marland and Jamal. Delma Porter (sister) Odie Lee Tatum (brother); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her Hour of Remembrance will commence on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the most holy sanctuary of Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ, 2755 East Overton Road, Dallas, TX 75216, Bishop Corby Bush, Senior Pastor. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
You may visit Ruth, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until 9:00 P.M.
The Twilight Service will commence 9-9:45pm Friday at the funeral in Dallas.
