Ruby Mae Burleson Prince was born in Terrell, Texas, April 1, 1916 to the parentage of Charlie and Eula Burleson. All of her siblings precededher in death.

In 1936, she met and married Reverend Gilbert B. Prince, Jr., Pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, where they served 31 years til his death in April 11, 1989. To this union six children were born.

She was preceded in death by her firstborn son, Gilbert B. Prince, III in 1939 and Betty McClellan, their only daughter, in 2004.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Rev. T.J. Prince (Denise), Mr. Garrett W. Prince, Rev. Richard Prince and Mr. Elbert J. Prince (Connie) and a host of grandchildren, great grandchidlren; one son in law, C.T. McClellan and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The homegoing celebration will commence Saturday, September 1, 2012 11:00am at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where C.W. Wallace is Pastor.
