Ruby truly lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Her go to was GOD and she made sure everyone she came in contact with knew it. She loved doing small projects and would sign her son Baron up for the large projects.
Ruby Mae Hawkins was born on the 3 rd day of August in 1952 in Corsicana, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age where she remained faithful to he master serving at the Greater Zion Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas.
Ruby received her high school diploma from James Madison High School in Dallas, Texas. She labored as Dental Assistant for the Stewpot where she enjoyed providing dental services to those in need. She later joined Baylor Scott & White as a Radiology Tech until she retired.
Ruby was an exceptional mother and astronomical grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ruby was proceeded in death by her father, Joe Junior Hawkins, mother, Christine Smith, Sisters, Francis Blair & Shirley Hawkins.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Afrique L. Hawkins, son, Baron Hawkins. One sister Darlene Fuller, six grand children: Sharod Hawkins, Shabron Hawkins, Robert Woods, Roeshod Woods, Rumon Hawkins, Terias Hawkins. Six great-grands: Aaliyah Blacmore, Lil Robert Woods, Amiah Woods, Jadah Hawkins, Ja'liah Hawkins, Allison Woods, along with a host of relatives and friends.
