~Ron's Life Story~
Ronald Earl Lewis was born on December 16, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Robert and Betty Lewis.
At an early age, Ronald accepted Christ at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Dallas Independent School District from South Oak Cliff class of 1972.
In 1995, Ronald moved his membership to The "Exciting" Singing Hills Baptist Church under the leadership of its founding Pastor, Dr. Howard E. Anderson, Sr.
On September 13, 1997, Ronald united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Hazel Fontenot Lewis.
Ronald spent most of his career in the Banking industry. In 2009, he retired from the Federal Reserve Bank.
Ronald loved people and never met a stranger. He always had a positive attitude. He will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memory a loving and supportive wife, Hazel Lewis; mother, Betty Lewis; daughter, Tia Lewis (Alex) Paulino; son, Marcus (Prin) Cole; brother, Robert (Brenda) Lewis; sister, LaWanda Richard; five grandchildren he adored: Lex, Ava, Makalah, Makenzie, Miles; Aunt, Claudette Standley; sisters-in-law: Helen, Ellen, Mildred, Anita and Jesweda; brothers-in-Law: Jerry, Roosevelt and David; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
