Mr. Roland Dwayne Smith was born in Corsicana, Texas on May 17, 1948 to the parents of James Smith and Lillie Mae Battles.

Mr. Roland Dwayne Smith leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Veronica Smith; daughter, Brenda (Johnny) Spearman of Dallas, Texas; sons, Roland Dwayne Smith of Florida, Texas and Joshua Smith of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Bryant Allen of Dallas, Texas and Julius Smith of Corsicana, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Smith; mother, Lillie Mae Battles and sister, Joyce Jackson and brother, Willie Howard Smith.
