Roger Dale Cox departed this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, Texas on November 14, 1951, to the late Clarette and Jimmy Cox. Roger accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at an early age.

In 1970 Roger graduated from Fredrick Douglas High School in Jacksonville, Texas. He went on to receive his bachelor's and master's degree in business administration from Prairie View A & M University in 1974.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Zelma Cox, son; Rodrick Cox, daughter; Jennifer, grandchildren; Shelese, Taylor, Keidrick, and Rodrick Jr., sister; Jeanette Teel, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
