Deacon Robert Russell Theus, ( aka RT, Slick) was born on February 09, 1950, the seventh child born to Sam Theus and Maggie Lee Theus in Heflin, Louisiana. He attended Central Consolidated High School in Dubberly, Louisiana.

Robert accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Carter Chapel C.M.E. church in Heflin, Louisiana and served until he moved to Denver, Colorado. On July 02, 1973 Robert was united in matrimony to Suzon Theus divorced in 1994.

Robert later relocated to Dallas, Texas. Robert was employed by J.L. Automotive Service for many years.

Bro Robert R. Theus became a member of the Kingdom United Baptist Church in 2008 under the leadership of Pastor Clarence R. Theus Sr. Under Pastor Theus leadership he was ordained as a Deacon in May 2010 , member of the choir, Sunday School teacher, church custodian . Even when his health failed him he continued to serve never used his limitation as an excuse as not accept any duties when asked, Deacon Theus was a faithful member and served until the day the Lord called him home.

He was proceed in death by : Sam Theus (father) , Maggie Theus (mother), brothers: Benny Ashley, Prince Theus SR., Sammie Theus, Sisters: Jerri Parker, Pairlee Hill , Brenda Herbert.

Left to celebrate his homegoing and cherish his memories: Four sisters, Bobbie Bennett, Maxine Walker, Robin Carter (Clemmon) , Margie Theus- Kimbrel, Brothers: George Theus, Mark Theus( Maribel). Former spouse: Suzon Theus, stepchildren: Kenneth E. Brooks (Joanna) Ro Shun E. Jones (Kevin) , La Shaunda A. Mosley ( Duane) , 20 grandchildren and 29 great grand children. Host of other relatives and friends.
