Robert Smith Jr. was born September 19, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jeurelle and Robert Smith Sr.

He worked as a mechanic in his spare time, and he was a DJ in his younger years.

He was a loved man and didn't mind showing love to those he cared about. He gave when he could and shared what he had.

Robert was a beloved son, a loving father, grandfather, a caring brother, a cherished nephew, a quiet uncle, and a good friend.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeurelle Thomas Smith, and his father, Robert Smith Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, LaWanda J. Dews; granddaughter, Cheniah D. Robertson; brother, Donte L. Smith (Sonya Smith); sister, Roshelle R. Mills (Demetries Mills); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
