Richard Gray was born on February 23, 1941 to the parentage of the late Lonnie and Louise Gray. He was the second oldest child out of 10 children. He was born in Biscoe, Arkansas. He was known as (Richard or Baby Brother). He accepted Christ at an early age in Biscoe, AR. He graduated from Biscoe High School in 1961. He attended Shorter College in Little Rock, AR. He joined the Military and served his country with Honor for more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from there. Richmond met Earnestine Fifer in December 1990 and after a lengthy courtship they were married on February 22, 1992 and became a loving blended family with daughter Cynthia, two sons Aaron and Willie. After retiring from the Military he worked at the VA Medical Hospital in Little Rock, AR for 6 years. He later relocated to Dallas, TX and worked at the VA Medical Hospital where he was one of the top EKG Technicians.He retired from the VA after 28 years of dedicated service. Richmond was a Faithful member of Graceland Community Baptist Church, Cedar Hill, TX. and he was a former member of Golden Gate Baptist Church and Greater Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, TX. Richmond had a great passion and love for the game of Golf. He was an "Avid Golfer", and he loved to play Golf and watch it on TV or attend tournaments. He played golf and was also a Caddie while attending College. Also, during his tenue and travels throughout his Military career he continued to play golf games and tournaments.Richmond was a member of the "Pro Duffers" Golf League organization, Southwest Chapter. He was a member of the VA Employee's Golf Team. Richmond really enjoyed Fishing, Traveling, Listening to Gospel Quartets, and Smooth Jazz. He was faithful, friendly, full of life and love for his wife and family and full of smiles. He was "Pa Pa" to our grandchildren. Richmond was preceded in death by both parents Lonnie and Louise Gray, three brothers Thadus Ray Gray, Lawrence Gray, Clarence Gray, sister Dorisene Gray-Williams, and grandson Dominik Bean. Richmond went home to glory on November 8, 2021 and leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Earnestine Fifer-Gray, daughter Cynthia Gilbert (Spencer I) two sons Aaron Lee Gray, Willie Bean, Jr. (Lisa), four sisters Brenda Lofton (Elwin), Linda Jones (Wayne), Vicky Gray, Vickie Hampton, five sister-in laws Sheila Barnes (Rodney), Sharon Francis, Gail Jones, Sherra Gray (Clearance), and Gwendolyn Hatter, five grandsons Deaven Bean, Draylon Bean (Carissa), Daniel Hooper (Jennifer), Spencer Gilbert II, Sterling Gilbert, three granddaughters Bianca Reed (Eric), Ikea Bryant, Farrin Caldwell, five great grandchildren Zeleeah Bean, Zephaniah Bean, Austin Reed, Justin Hooper, Summer Caldwell, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
