Richard Brown Jr. was the first of two children born to Richard Sr. and Joan Brown. His earthly journey began on March 22nd, 1957 in Dallas, Texas. He later located at the age of 8 along with his mother and brother to San Francisco, California where He grew up and attended local public schools. He went to John McLaren elementary, Luther Burbank Jr. High and graduated from McAteer High School in 1975. He then joined the United States Marine corps and completed 4 years of service. Richard's MOS in the Marines was Aircraft Mechanic. Upon completion of his military service he got hired to work at Naval Air Station in Alameda, California. Richard's occupation was Aircraft Mechanic as in the Marines. Richard was employed with the Naval Air Station from 1980 to 1995. Upon the base closures, Richard was furloughed to Coronado Naval base in San Diego, California from 1993 to 2003. He later relocated back to where it all started in Dallas, Texas reuniting with his mother and brother who had moved back in 1999 and 2001. Richard always loved being around family and always had a joyful presence, a smile each and every time. He loved playing dominoes along with his brother and taking family group photo's yelling "smile Pikey". We will surely miss him!
Richard is predeceased by both Parents, Richard Sr. and Joan Brown. His oldest son Richard Brown III and along with many other relatives. His memories will be revered by his 3 surviving children, Risheda Brown'Hildreth, son-in-law Pico Hildreth, Youngest daughter and son, Khadijah Brown and Diamonte Brown, and step-children Keevan, Kieara and Kris Prier, Nieces Vanessa Brown, Brandi Simpson and Nephew Michael Brown II, and a whole host of cousins from his family.
