Obituary

Rezna O.B Scott was born July 3, 1943 to the late Marrell and Margutrite Scott in Lufkin, Texas. He later moved to Dallas, Texas. Where he lived and united  in marriage to Ruby Alexander. And to that union they had 4 children. Rezna graduated from Cushing High School.

Rezna enjoyed watching his Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks.( a true homer fan for his hometown teams). He enjoyed playing dominos, shooting pool, barbequing for his family/friends while being an essential leader in the perparation for family reunions. He also loved the blues and listening to gospel music while sitting at his table and drinking coffee. More importantly he loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Rezna was preceded in death by his parents, Marrell and Margutrite and his youngest brother Donrese Scott.

Rezna leaves to cherish his memory 4 children, Monica Woodley of Loganville, GA, Renee Ingram (Dorrisl) of Rosston, AR, Rezna Sott ( Morena) of Lewisville, TX, and Marcus Scott (Laurice) of Loganville, GA. He leaves 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 8 siblings, Nell Jean Randolph of Fort Worth, TX, Nettie Mae Scott of Kennard, TX, Norris Scott (Hattie) of Dallas, TX, Evelyn Waters of Cushing, TX Martha Ferrell (Lawrence) of  Douglas, TX. Lorese Scott of Dallas, TX, Hazel Scott of Dallas, TX  Doris Thomas (Curley) of Arlington, TX. Special mention to Mary Puckett a longtime friend.
