Regina La'Shall Metcalf-Phillips was born on April 8, 1969
to Melva J. Metcalf and Tommie Torrence Jr. in Dallas,
Texas. She attended and graduated from Dallas ISD, A.
Maceo High School in 1988. She was a State Employee for
CPS for 19 years and a Human Services Advisor for 5 years.
She was a proud mother of three children.
Regina was loved by everyone she touched.
Regina was preceded in death by both of her parents, Melva
Metcalf and Tommie Torrence Jr., grandparents: Jessie
and Eddie Metcalf Jr., and uncles: Ronald, Donald, Jessie,
Arnold, and Michael Metcalf.
Regina leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters:
Jasmine Williams, Jessica Phillips, son: Preston Phillips,
sisters: Angela Metcalf-Tate (Michael), TaSheana Brown,
Kimberly Alexander (Bobby), Sable Bryant (Steven),
Latasha Frazier, and brother: Christopher Torrence, along
with a host of family and friends. Special friend: Amanda
Ludlow.
