Ms Ray Ann Jones was born December 28, 1945 in Caldwell, Texas. To the late Mr. Hamilton Stevenson and Mrs. Beatrice Stevenson. She was the oldest of five, one sister Dollie Hewitt and son Bobby Dearman preceded her in death.

She attended public school in Caldwell, Texas. She united with the Church at an early age. She met and married Lorenza Jones, Sr. Who preceded her in death. Two sons were born to this union.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Son, Lorenza Jones, Jr.; Daughter, Katrina LaRay Jones, three brothers, Hamilton Stevenson, Jr (Angie), Isaac Stevenson, Darnell Stevenson (Barbara), seven grandsons, Bobby Dearman, Cameron Austin, Cornelius Dearman, Lorenza Jones 3rd (Tre), Christopher Jordan Jones, Joshua Jones and Jhatari Jones. One granddaughter, Camille Dearman, Two great-granddaughter, Ray Ianna Dearman and Bre'Kaya Dearman, One great grandson, Bobby Dearman, Jr. Goddaughter, TaBatha Runnells, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
