Affectionately known as "Pink", "Buttercup", and "Jimmy", Mr. Pink Collins Jr of DeSoto, TX died December 9, 2019.
Pink served and retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) after 28 years of service.
He was born on March 16, 1926 in Chattanooga, TN. His parents, Lillie Mae Brown Collins and Pink Collins Sr. both preceded him in death.
Pink will be most remembered as a loving father and grandfather, for his no-nonsense frank conversations, for his love of cooking, music and his dogs.
Survivors include his companion Audrey "Nell" Duncan; his daughters: Lois (Johnnie) Byrd, Cheverly, MD; and Deris M.Rollins, Arlington, TX; and his son: Michael P Collins, Cape Coral, FL.
He also leaves 7 grandchildren: Terry Eason, Sherry Gilchrist, Kimberley Waller, Timothy Byrd, Lily Marie Rollins, Zoe Collins, and Noah Collins. He also leaves several great-grandchildren.
