Perry Glenn Henderson was born on March 8, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Perry graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in the class of 1986. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, exemplifying honor, dedication, and selfless service. During his time in the service, he sailed on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower and served in the Gulf War as an Airman as a prestigious member of the Flight Squadron 142 “ Ghost riders in the Sky”. Perry went on to work as a Restaurant Manager for over 30 years, where his leadership, work ethic, and dedication left a lasting impression on both colleagues and customers alike. Throughout his life, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures and was especially passionate about drawing, fishing, and cooking. Whether creating artwork, spending a peaceful day on the water, or preparing meals for those he loved, Perry’s talents and generous spirit brought people together.

Above all else, Perry was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, sense of humor, and the unconditional love he gave to his family.

Perry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul W. Henderson Sr. and Omie Henderson; his uncles, Stanley Henderson and Paul Henderson Jr.; and his aunts, Shirley Lang and Zella Preston.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Tamika; his loving mother, Paulette Seals; aunt Addie Williams; his children, Taisja Stinson, Perry Henderson II Tara, Nia Henderson, Kendyl Henderson, and Taylor Henderson; his treasured grandchildren, Jamarcus Henderson, Brandon Jackson Jr., Lorenzo Ollie Jr., Azariah Henderson, Amari Jackson, Peredise Henderson, Princeton Henderson, Tremayne Jackson, Jaceion Henderson, Leilani Wilborn, Khloe Logan, Demarlee Pugh, Paisley Henderson, and Skye Henderson; his brother, Patrick Henderson Judith; his sister, LaOmie Black- Hubbard Marquail; his nieces, Carol Henderson and Trinity Smith; his nephews, Cameron Henderson and Messiah Hubbert; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

Perry was embraced as a son, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin by my family, whose love and friendship meant so much to him throughout our years together. He loved them as his own, and they loved him in return. The bonds we shared as one family were among his greatest blessings. Their support, laughter, and countless memories together became an important part of his life and will always be cherished.

Perry’s love for his family was unwavering, and his presence was a source of comfort, wisdom, and strength. His legacy will continue through the lives of those he loved and the countless memories they shared. Though he will be deeply missed, his love will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
