Percy Paris was born October 11, 1937 in Athen, Texas to the parentage of Willie Paris and Pearlie V. Smith.

Percy Paris met Ms. Ida Paris in 1971. They got married on May 10,1972. They were married for 47 years and to this union to children were born.
Bro. Paris loved to spend time with his family and friends, he loved to cook, bar-b-que, hunt, and work on cars.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Ida Paris, daughters, Patricia (caregiver) her husband Will Cobbin, Lenise and Gail Paris, Shaun, Sheila, Sherisa (Ted), Denise Woodson, Vickie Hill, and Cathy (Ben) Singleton. Sons: DWayne(caregiver) and wife (Malinkca) Woodson, Cyde (Darlene) Polk, James Polk, James, Terry, and Lance Paris, Lee (Katherine), Johnny (Betty), Harris. A host of grands and great grands, relatives and friends.
