Peggy Jean Riggins-Busby was born on October 12, 1952 to the proud parentage of Chauncey Riggins and Thelma Marie Houston who have both gone to Glory along with her brother, Chauncey Riggins, Jr.; sisters, Diane Riggins and Maxine Riggins. God called His Diva Angel, His cowgirl, His child to join Him in a celebratory dance on March 26, 2018.

Peggy received her formal education with DISD where she last attended South Oak Cliff High School. Peggy accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Inspiring Body of Christ Church in 2005.

Peggy commenced in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Busby in 1977. She believed in being a woman of faith and creativity. Peggy was able to make a way out of no way in every way know matter what it took, no sacrifice was too much for Miss Kitty.

Peggy reminded us that life is to be celebrated and not taken for granted. Peggy taught us about the "T" in tough. Peggy was a Cosmetologist for over 50 years. She advanced in companies such as Hyatt Regency Dallas and retired from American Eagle in 2006.

She had a beautifully nursing soul and didn't know how to turn people away. Peggy is line dancing with Jesus in His Holy Corral.

One Brother: James E Houston Sr. (Tereisa) Three sisters: Brenda Pearse, Donna Gantt (Paul), Barbara Johnson, One Cousin: Dorothy McIntosh (Dallas, Tx. Six Nephews: Daron Ratcliff, Kevin Ratcliff, Terrance Riggins, Reginald Riggins, Keenan Beachum and DeAndre Gantt all of Dallas, Tx. Six Nieces: Deidre Davis, San Antonio, Tammi Abney, Kristy-Pooh, Tynisha Bartley, Shamise Williams and Valencia Houston all of Dallas, Tx. along with a host of other relatives and special friends.
