Peggy Eynonne Brown was born July 10, 1956, in Gilmer, late LaRuth Brown and Willie Brown. Peggy attended H.S. Thompson Elementary and graduated from Lincoln High School.
Peggy received Christ at an early age where she was a member of Miracle Temple under the leadership of the late Bishop DeWayne Thompson now Pastor Cheryl Thompson where she was president of the choir and a great fundraiser. Now attending Calvary Philadelphia MBC under Pastor Joe Ho. Moore, Jr. She was a member of the Usher Board and loves to do her Soul Food Festival and Fashion show fundraiser.
Peggy worked at Dallas Times Herald for 15 years and worked at the Federal Reserve Bank for 10 years. Her last job was Tower Watson, where she worked for several years. She worked hard and didn't miss a coin. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1974. She never missed school. She attended El Centro College where she received an Associates' Degree in Business Management and Accounting. She made sure that the class in '74 stayed together like a family.
She loved to travel. She was glad about the last trip she took with her neighbor, Roc and Myra, and friend Perae, where they went to Cancun, Mexico. She enjoyed her time and was ready to go back next year.
She made sure her children experience life that other kids about. She made sure that travel the world. As a neighbor, she was proud of her neighborhood. They know when she gets her grass cut. She was ready for them to yard together. STAY OFF HER GRASS.
She was a member of the Big Six Social Club. You know when she sale raffle tickets you had no choice but to buy them. If you came to her house no matter if coming to see her or her kids you have to buy something. She always sale something or does fundraisers for the church. Every day know that June 10 was a national holiday. She always has Dallas Cowboys watch party. Everybody enjoys it. She loves having gatherings in the backyard. Her favorite soda was Big Red and loved lays chips. She loves to dance. She won a lot of dance contests. She was never a stranger to no one.
Peggy's parents and family preceded her in death mother LaRuth Thompson, stepfather Pink Thompson, daughter Armesha Brown, sister Evelyn Wiley, and niece Lanitra Brown.
Peggy leaves to cherish her memories Arbresha (Twin) Brown, Markeith Brown (Christia) father Willie Brown, brother Tommy Brown sister Linda Buchanan, Saron Brown, and Vickie Thompson (Vincent), Jean A. Davis Godchild Camelia, Shelmela, Alex and Eddie (Demarian) God grandson Joe Easton, Jr. uncle Herman Brown (Lee). Host of niece and nephew and friend. Special friends Norvella, Faye, Cathy, Toby, Pernice Betty, and Cherly.
