Obituary

Patsy Ruth Dixon Boles went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Patsy Ruth Dixon Boles was born in Jefferson, Texas on November 7, 1943. She had six sisters and two brothers. Patsy was nurtured and raised under the parentage of Harold and Anna Mae Dixon.

Patsy attended the Dallas Independent School District. She later united in marriage to James Alton Boles. They were blessed to share this union for over 52 years and together they raised one son.

Patsy Ruth Boles was affectionately known as "Queen" by her late husband, Pastor James A. Boles. She was the First Lady of Life Light Deliverance Church of God in Christ, that her husband founded and pastored until he passed away.

Patsy accepted Christ at an early age and was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Pastor and Mother Oliver at Evangelist Holy Temple.

Missionary Boles has left a lasting impression upon many ministers and missionaries during her travels throught Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Patsy worked various jobs, one particular was Baylor Hospital in the Dietary area, and went into her own business.

Patsy Boles was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Anna Mae Dixon; her husband, Pastor, Elder James Alton Boles; sisters, Mary Jean Dixon Ward, Warnerv Dixon Stuart, Irma Dee Dixon, Easter Mae Dixon Anderson; and brothers, Harold Dixon and Ellis Harvest.
Patsy leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Herman Boles (Jeannetta); grandson, Jacolby Boles; two sisters, Julianne Dixon Washington and Mattie Dixon Green both of Houston, Texas; nephews, Robert Brown (Earline) of New Orleans, Louisiana and Harold Dixon of Dallas, Texas; nieces, Lisa Foster (Nathan) of Houston, Texas and Tracy Dixon of Dallas, Texas; many other nieces, nephews, sisters in law, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.
