Obituary

Our dear mother Patricia Anne Parker sadly passed away on 07/15/2023, at the age of 74. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many family and friends. She was a well-loved and faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church. She served others with so much joy and hope for everyone she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother Charlie Mae Williams and her father, Carlos Mitchell, her youngest son, Anthony Parker, Her Aunt Effie L Pryor, and Cousin Bonnie Williams.
She is survived by her Husband, of 56 years, Leo Parker Sr, Son, Leo Parker Jr, Daughters, Cassandra Parker, and Pierette Parker, Her sisters: Brenda Smith, Beverly Monk, and Cynthia Williams, Her Grandchildren Alexus Parker, Jhirmeila Parker, Jeremy Parker, Jhirvohn Branley, Jayda Wheat, nieces/nephews and grand/great - nieces/nephews, and cousins.
Our mother began her career working for Dallas Area Rapid Transit and then became a Certified Medical Assistant which ultimately led her to her passion for helping others through religious service and volunteerism, which she faithfully carried out after retiring up until the day of her passing.
She loved people and people loved her. She never met a stranger and would not think twice about helping someone in need. She will be tremendously missed by all that came in contact with her and especially those that knew her.
