On Sunday, March 12, 2018 Patricia Goffney finished her journey on this earth and is now with her Heavenly Father.

Patricia was born August 5, 1947 to the parents of Joseph Wells, Sr. and Cora Lee Wells in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She dedicated her life at an early age to Jehovah and was baptized at age 11. She served faithfully until her death.

She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1965 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After graduating, she relocated to Dallas, Texas. She met and married Larry Goffney in 1966 and to this union 4 children were born.

Patricia was employed with the City of Dallas Police Department for over 30 years, until she retired. After retiring, she was entrusted with raising her granddaughter, Cora and grandson Elson; and she loved every moment of it. Patricia often talked about Paradise and enjoyed having Bible studies and going out in Field Service. In her free time her passion was going to see a good stage play, watching musicals and movies. Patricia made a mean peach cobbler and was known as the "Peach Cobbler Queen."

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Wells, Sr. and Cora Wells; Son: Daun Goffney; Brother: Joseph Wells, Jr.; and her precious Black Labrador: "BK".

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love 3 Daughters: Sharon Goffney, Larecia Goffney and Roslyn Goffney; Six Grandchildren: Jessica Thibodeaux (Quincy), Johnathan Pate, Elson Goffney, Sir Daun Goffney, Shaun Goffney and Cora Goffney; Four Great Grandchildren; Six Siblings: Leroy Wells, Aundra Wells, Sharon Vick (Reuben), Josephine Simmons, Barbara Jones, Linda Eronini; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
